About nums
nums is a daily math puzzle from JeniusWare. Each day brings a set of digits, and your job is to arrange all of them, each exactly once, into a true equation.
Four games, every day
New puzzles arrive at midnight Eastern time, at four levels:
- newbie: five digits, with addition, subtraction and multiplication.
- normie: six digits, adding division.
- nerd: seven digits, adding exponents, and at least one multi-digit number.
- ninja: eight digits, with at least two multi-digit numbers.
How scoring works
Your score isn't the equation's value. It measures how much work it takes to see that the two sides really are equal, so clever, non-obvious constructions score higher than plain ones. Trivial or too-small answers don't score at all.
Submit as many equations as you like; your best score of the day counts. Each scored answer also shows where it ranks among all the known solutions to that day's puzzle.
